Oppo Celebrates over 100 million shipped phones with VOOC by releasing new Pikachu powerbank

Oppo recently held an event in Shanghai where they celebrated over 100 million shipped phones with their proprietary fast charging technology called “VOOC” in what is being called a “Super VOOC Flash charge day”. Oppo’s VP who is responsible for the domestic business of the company also went on to add that their proprietary fast charging technology have paved the way in the tech industry. It has also changed consumer habits on how they Charge their smart phones with people now plugging their smart phones in the morning instead of leaving it plugged in overnight as they could get a 40% charge from 0% in 10mins using Oppo’s VOOC fast charging.

To celebrate this milestone, Oppo did what they know how to do best by giving users a way to charge their device faster, this time with a 5V/10A output Pikachu powerbank in colour yellow. A yellow protective case was also released for the Oppo R17 Pro (Also know as Oppo RX17 Pro) with a bunch of pikachu and NFC stickers. The case has already been listed for sale on the Oppo official website but the Pikachu powerbank which is said to cost $60/€50 hasn’t been listed on the website.
