Towards the end of last month, an announcement by OPPO unveiled the Reno Z. The OPPO Reno Z is a mid-range smartphone under the new Reno series better known for the 10X zoom flagship. OPPO has already launched the device in China and plans to launch the device in Europe have already been concluded and is set to hold next week. The Reno Z is scheduled to be launched in the Netherlands on the 5th of July.
The release details which were spotted revealed that the phone will be available in Dutch stores MediaMarkt and Belsimpel and it will have a price of €349 ($395) for the 4GB+128GB variant. OPPO will release both Black and Purple color variants to the market although there are also White and Orange color variants.
Just as a recap, the Reno Z is a mid-range smartphone by OPPO which features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. Right above the display is a waterdrop notch which houses a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. Also, features like HDR 10 support accompany the display as well as an in-display fingerprint sensor. The rear design of the Reno Z is very similar to the Reno. The rear features a dual camera setup which features a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 main camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. It is also powered by a Mediatek Helio P90 processor. In terms of memory, the phone comes in two variants: The first features 6GB RAM + 256 GB internal storage while the second features 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage.
In the software aspect, the phone comes with Android 9 Pie out of the box with a ColorOS 6 skin. It also packs a huge 4035 mAh battery which is supported with OPPO’s 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology. The Reno Z also comes with NFC and Dolby Atmos support for optimum sound quality.
