ORALE X1 Review

Orale Mobile is a Shenzen based smartphone company established sometime in 2016 with the aim of manufacturing and providing the people of India with nice, premium yet affordable smartphones. Presently, Orale Mobile focuses shipping of its devices on the China Smartphone market (Hong Kong) and Dubai.

ORALE, though still a start-up, have managed to churn out smartphones that would do well enough in a head-to-head against some big names in the smartphone game. In this vein, we would be looking at one of the product of this smartphone start-up; the ORALE X1 4G Smartphone.

DESIGN

Design-wise, I so love the Orale X1. The aesthetic of the device is top-notch. The device glass front has a glossy look and slightly curved edges. The set-up and arrangement of some components of the device like the camera, home button (the fingerprint scanner) is likewise commendable. At the bottom, there is a USB port for charging and file transfer. And flanked to both sides are the double speaker grills of the device.

Adding to the inherent beauty of the Orale X1 is the available colour options that device comes in. There’s the Gold, Black and Red version of the Orale X1 4G smartphone.

DISPLAY

Orale X1 review – large 5.5-inch HD screen

The Orale X1 has a large 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen. The display of the screen is of High Definition (HD) quality and I’m positive this particular feature will appease lovers of big screen, movie lovers or fans of on-the-go reading.

PROCESSOR, OS & STORAGE

The Orale X1 is powered by Quad-Core processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz. Supporting the processor is an Android v6.0 Marshmallow operating system. At the moment, there’s no information as to whether the Orale X1 will be upgradable to the latest Android OS; the Android Nougat 7.0.

As for storage, what you get is 2GB of Random Access Memory (RAM) to run apps smoothly and without clogs and 16GB of on-board storage to keep as many files as the little storage can hold. Luckily, there’s room for expansion of up to 32GB using an external microSD card.

CAMERA

To the highlighting feature of the Orale X1 – the front and back dual camera set-up. The rear of the X1 spots two conspicuous 13MP lens and a tiny LED flashlight placed in the middle of the two lenses.

On the front however, a reduced dual 5MP camera takes selfies so damn well. Also, trust it to provide top quality during video calls or chats too.

BATTERY

A 3,200mAh battery keeps the Orale X1 up and running. The battery capacity is good, but definitely could have been much more better. Likewise, on the downside, the battery lacks Quick Charge technology which may take the battery longer period to fully charge.

  1. This phone X1 Orale, or X1 Oale its new name, with pretty is displaying fake system information :
    – 6.0 Marshmallow instead of 5.1 Lollipop (easy to check with most system information tool)
    – 16 GB ROM instead of 8 GB (5.2 GB only available)
    – 2GB RAM instead of 1 GB (from maintenance box like infinity)

No web support available in case of problems
    No ROM available
    No recovery ROM available

This phone doesn’t support apps load. Slowing, lagging and often rebooting from 4,7GB.

Good in design but bad in normal use.
