The Realme C2 is an entry-level smartphone and it was unveiled today along with the Realme 3 Pro smartphone in India today. The phone comes as a successor to the Realme C1 which was launched last year and the Realme C1 (2019) that was unveiled at the beginning of this year. The Realme C2 comes with an impressive smudge-free diamond-cut design and some interesting specs.
Realme C2 Specifications
The Realme C2 features a 6.1-inch water-drop notch enabled IPS LCD panel. The display comes with HD+ resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ration and it offers a screen-to-body ratio of nearly 90 percent. It is powered by the 12nm MediaTek Helio P22 chipset that includes an octa-core processor which clocks at 2.0 GHz. The phone packs a 4000 mAh battery comes with Android 9 Pie OS out of the box with a ColorOS 6.0 skin. It also packs 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
Realme C2 Display
In terms of photography, the Realme C2 sports a dual-camera setup on its rear which includes a 13MP camera and a 2MP camera. On the front, the phone features a 5MP selfie shooter. The Realme C2 has no fingerprint sensor, but it comes with an AI facial unlock feature.
Realme C2 Price and Release Date
The phone comes in two color variants: Diamond Blue and Diamond Black. It also has two variants in terms of memory; a 2 GB RAM + 16 GB storage variant which costs $86 and a 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage variant which costs $115.
First sales of the Realme C2 will be on Realme.com and Flipkart from 12 PM on May 15. You can also purchase the phone offline. Buyers of the Realme C2 will be provided with benefits of Rs. 5,300 (~$76) from Jio.
