Redmi currently has plans to enter the flagship market later this month with the release of its first flagship devices, the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro in China. Over the past few weeks, we have seen many leaks sharing details about both devices and the brand in its hype game has also shared some teasers that highlight the key specs of the upcoming devices.
While Redmi is expected to launch the Redmi K20 in China on May 28, Redmi India has also confirmed that it will launch the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 in India as well. We do not know whether or how the devices will be launched outside China and India, however. According to some rumors from Europe, Redmi will indeed launch the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro in Europe. It will be launched as a re-branded Xiaomi phone, however.
According to reports by Spiderweb, the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro will indeed be launched in Poland. However, they will not be launched as the K20 and K20 Pro. The report says that both phones could be rebranded and they will be launched as the Xiaomi Redmi 9T and Redmi 9T Pro.
While this goes to show that the phones will be launched outside of China and India, the source also hinted that the report is about 100% legit, though the exact date the phone will be launched in Poland is still unknown. Maybe, we will have more details about international availability of the phone when the May 28 Beijing event is held.
While the premium Redmi K20 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 855, a report says that the standard K20 ditch the SD855 chipset for the recent Snapdragon 730. We also expect to see some differences in the phones’ cameras, and of course, you should expect a few compromises made in the camera department.
