The Tech giant Samsung is gearing up to introduce a budget smartphone that will be powered by Android Go Edition based on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. The smartphone will feature a smooth panel with enough screen size and average specifications. The handset has already surface rendering the key features and other specifications to expect. Below is everything we know about the new upcoming phone from Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy A2 Core Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A2 Core appears with a model number SM-A260F featuring Android Go Edition. On the image above, the handset is similar to the Xiaomi Go that was launched some times ago. It has a smooth panel with an LED flash and a single camera, while the logo is on the bottom left of the panel.
On the overall, it measures 141.6 x 71. 9.1mm and it weighs 142 grams. The front area is blessed with a PLS TFT LCD panel of 5 inches that produces a qHD resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio. The display isn’t that great though and it has the annoying thick bezel on the top and bottom of the screen.
On the camera, the Galaxy A2 Core has a single rear camera of 5-megapixel that features f/1.9 aperture autofocus and LED flash. It’s powered by a nonremovable battery capacity of 2600 mAh on the inside. The connectivity options include 4G VoL, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack. The processor that will take charge of the operating system is said to be Exynos 7870 chipset that will be paired with 1GB of RAM. It has internal storage of 8GB with a dedicated slot for micro SD card that allows users to expand the memory.
Samsung Galaxy A2 Core Release Date
The rumor mill is suggesting that the phone will arrive in Black and Blue colors. The handset may be released alongside the A series which will take place on April 10 at a launched event. The price is not yet available.
