Looks like Samsung has again launched a new device in the Galaxy J series, this time the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo. The launch is coming just days after the J series gave birth to the Galaxy J Max and Galaxy J2 (2016).

The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo sports a modest 4.3-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and has 1 GB of RAM. The device also offers 8GB of in-built storage capacity and up to 128GB MicroSD card expandable storage slot.
Camera, OS & Battery
Talking about the camera, the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo features a 5-megapixel rear camera unit with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, auto focus and HD video recording features. It also comes with a 2-megapixel front facing camera. The device is backed up by a 1900 mAh removable battery that can deliver up to 40hrs of audio playback and talk time of up to 11 hrs on 3G network. The device comes with Samsung’s Ultra Power Saving Mode.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo runs on unknown Android version and supports just a Single-SIM (Micro-SIM) option.
The sleek device also supports 4G LTE, USB 2.0, GPS, Glonass, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth v4.0. It measures 130.1 x 67.6 x 9.5 mm and weights 131 grams.

The budget device is currently available in the South African market, clutching a price tag of 2159.00 Rand ( $148 US dollars, which is about N40,000 in Nigeria). Also, the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo is listed on Samsung’s official website without a price tag and availability info, though.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo comes in three color options White, Black and Blue but there is no information about when Samsung plans to role out the device globally and the pricing details.
