The year 2017 is coming to an end (with only about 50 days left) and a new year is drawing near. And as tradition has it, everyone (including Tech companies) have one or more plans and new things they would love to do for the upcoming year. One of Samsung’s is to release the Galaxy J3 (2018).
The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) (2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, Android v7.0 Nougat and 13 MP camera) was a good one and had features that made it worth every penny of its price. However, Samsung thinks it’s time for the device to have a new sibling, an upgrade – the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018).
Although no official word from Samsung yet, the Galaxy J3 (2018) have been rumoured to come with the same 5.0 inches IPS LCD display as its predecessor, the same 720 x 1280 pixels, and likewise equal 294 ppi pixel density.
There may not be too much upgrade to the device as regards design, display and appearance but the Galaxy J3 (2018) will come with a faster Cortex-A53 processor which will clock up to 1.5 GHz. Also, the mid-ranger will come with a more updated version of the Nougat OS (v7.1).
There are presently no available details concerning price and battery life but the storage compartment will consist of 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be tuned up to 256 GB using a Micro SD card.
The device is expected to be announced before the year runs out and will most likely go up for sale as soon as January 2018 comes in.
For now, that is all we know about the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) and to be reminded, all the above information were gathered from several rumours, leaks and speculations across the web. Until Samsung comes out with the official specifications of the device, the above may/may not be the true features of the upcoming Galaxy J3 (2018).. but it most likely is.
