Samsung continues to expand the Galaxy M series with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy M31s. The phone is scheduled to debut on July 30 and will arrive in India for the first time. Like any new phone in this respectable series, it has a very large battery and a pretty impressive camera in the back.
The South Korean company recently launched the affordable Galaxy M01s in India, and now the bar is up. Until next week’s debut, we still have some teasers and details about the terminal. Amazon India has posted a page with its features, which include a Super AMOLED Infinity-O screen, with Full HD + resolution, along with a quad-camera in the back, with a 64-megapixel main sensor. It is interesting that with this model Samsung brings the Single Take function on Galaxy M models as well.
The page also confirms the 6000 mAh battery on board, with fast charging at 25W. We also have a reverse charge on the wire, so we can power other phones from a power bank. We don’t have details about the rest of the cameras, storage, RAM, and CPU yet, but we can speculate. For this, we will take as a reference Galaxy M31. It had the Exynos 9611 CPU, which I think will be kept.
I think the 6.4-inch diagonal remains in the books and onboard it had a 32 MP selfie camera, plus a quad-camera with a 64 MP sensor, 8 MP ultrawide, 5 MP Macro, and 5 MP Bokeh, with 4K filming. What upgrade do we get though? Maybe a 13 MP ultrawide camera, maybe a Snapdragon or Helio CPU instead of Exynos. We’ll find out on July 30th.
