Samsung has finally made their long awaiting smartphone official which is the Samsung Galaxy S10. You can refer the phone as a 2019 latest device from the Tech giant Samsung as the phone was introduced with a beautiful body design in a unique way. We will be comparing the Samsung Galaxy S10 with Apple 2018 flagship phone which is the iPhone XS to see when one has an upper hand both on the design, camera, and performance.

iPhone XS VS Samsung Galaxy S10: Design Comparison

On the body, the iPhone XS is blessed with a smooth panel and a classic looking body that feature a notch up front. The handset is both dust and water resistant and it's available in multiple colors that include Gold, Silver, and Space Grey colors. It measures 7.7 mm in thickness and weighs 177 gram. The Samsung Galaxy S10 did not come with a notch but parades the new trending which is an onscreen hole that gives way to bigger screen size.
The phone is also both dust and water resistant and it's shipped in amazing colors that include Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Green, and Prism Blue colors. It measures 7.8 mm in thickness and weighs 157 gram.

On the camera department, the iPhone XS is equipped with combo rear cameras that consist of 12 MP + 12 MP with dual LED flash and a front facing camera of 7 MP for selfies and video calls. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S10 is blessed with triple rear cameras that consist of 12MP + 12MP + 16MP with dual LED flash and a front facing camera of 10 MP for selfies and video calls. The iPhone XS has a brighter aperture with Retina Flash and FaceID, while the Samsung Galaxy S10 has a FaceID as well and will shoot high videos quality than the later. So the Galaxy S10 has the point.

Our Verdict:

Although on the design and even on the camera, the Samsung Galaxy S10 looks more promising than the iPhone XS. Despite the high configuration on the phone, the iPhone XS still score high on Benchmark both on Geekbench and Atutu.  This shows that the iPhone XS will perform better than the Galaxy S10 and the good news is that the phone is more affordable as well.
