It would seem that Sharp and thick bezels do not just agree with each other. The Sharp Aquos Mini SH-mo3 is the company’s latest addition to its family of light bezeled and bezeless devices.
The device is part of a family of forgotten 4-inch smartphones and is the mini counterpart to 2014’s Aquos device.
Design & Display
The device comes with a 4.7-inch 1080p display which is surrounded on all sides (except the chin) by light bezels. The device features Sharp’s IGZO technology, which the company claims is more power-efficient than conventional LCDs. More importantly, though, this phone dynamically adjusts its refresh rate, going from as high as 120Hz (twice the typical 60Hz, meaning 60fps) right down to just 1Hz when the screen is idling. This will count as as a great feature to extended the battery life of the phone since the phone battery itself is not so large. All of this is packed into a very good looking waterproof shell.
Processor and Memory
The snapdragon 808 which is a quad chip clocked at 2.5 GHz will be in charge of the processing prowess of the device it is backed by 3GB of ram.
The device will come with 16 gigabytes of onboard storage with the option of micro-SD card expansion.
The Sharp Aquos Mini sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with an amazing f/1.9 lens. So you can be rest assured that your pictures will be blur free, noise free and crystal clear. A 5mp front shooter sits in front for selfies and video calls.
Battery, Operating System & Connectivity
The device will be powered by a 2,810 mAh battery which is quite below the standard these days but paired with sharps new optimization system and the small screen size the you should be able to get through a day of normal use easily.

The device sails the android ship and will be rocking the Android 6.0.1 marshmallow. Nothing has been said about the possibility of an OTA to the latest version of Android Nougat.
The device will come unlocked and will be compatible with world wide Edge, FDD-LTE, HSPDA, HSPDA+, HSUPDA and TDD-LTE network bands.
Sharp engineered the sides of the phone to be pressure-sensitive. As such, the phone performs different basic actions depending on how you squeeze its sides.
Also , the Aquos Mini features what Sharp calls Emopa, an interesting notification system that uses two breathing lights at the bottom corners.
