Sony Xperia XZ2 H8216, H8296 Model Number Comparison

The Sony Xperia XZ2 is the top flagship phone that was launched in MWC 2018. Looking at the phone, you will notice some changes, obviously not what we are used to from Sony.
The phone comes with a smooth and premium panel and the front bezel has also been minimized. The overall body is built with an Aluminium Alloy and a corning gorilla glass 5 is used to cover it.

The phone drops the normal 3.5mm but maintains a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which can be found below the rear camera. In terms of display, it has a 5.7-inch display panel that offers full HD HDR. The IPS LCD panel has a 2160 X 1080 pixels screen resolution with 424 ppi density for clear visuals. The Sony Xperia XZ2 has a rear camera of 19MP with selfies snapper of 5MP. The good news here is that the main camera can shoot 4K video while the front-facing camera will record 1080p video resolution and it’s paired with a 3D facial scan. This will serve as an added security feature on the phone.

The battery capacity has been upgraded to 3,180 mAh and it comes with both fast and wireless charging technology. The Sony Xperia XZ2 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with its fastest cores clocking at 2.7GHz and for graphics related issues, you will get Adreno 630 GPU. The internal memory on the phone is 4GB with 64GB of memory which you can also expand up to 400GB using a micro SD card.
