The phone was one of the top selling budget phones because of the battery and the large screen size. The bad news is that not all were able to get the device because of the price tag. Good news, the affordable version has just been introduced by TECNO which comes with Air attached to the original name. Now you will get Tecno Pouvoir 2 Air and the Tecno Pouvoir 2 which is the original model. On the design comparison, you may find it difficult to differentiate both phones. This is because they pack similar body design both on the back and front. They are identical. Both the Tecno Pouvoir 2 and the Pouvoir 2 Air are built with all plastic and they have a smooth panel which house the camera, LED flash and a fingerprint sensor. The difference you will notice here is that the Pouvoir 2 has the camera at the top center alongside an LED flash, while the Pouvoir 2 Air camera is at the top left corner with an LED flash as well. They both weigh the same 174-gram measuring 8.5mm in thickness. You can buy them in multiple colors which include City Blue, Midnight Black, and Champagne Gold.

On the front, both phones also offer a similar screen display size as well. They have a screen size of 6.0-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels, and 269 PPI density. They also rock the same aspect ratio of 18:9 which gives way to a front facing camera and other sensors at the top of the phone.  There’s no winner on the display category.

The Tecno Pouvoir 2 has 2GB RAM with inbuilt storage of 16GB which is expandable, while the Tecno Pouvoir 2 Air has 1GB RAM with the same internal memory of 16GB which is expandable as well. The Pouvoir 2 is powered by Android 8.1 Oreo, while the Tecno Pouvoir 2 Air is powered by Android 8.1 Oreo-based on Android Go Edition for smooth performance.

The Tecno Pouvoir 2 and the Tecno Pouvoir 2 Air has the same massive battery capacity of 5000 mAh with no support for fast charging technology. Other features on the phones include 4G LTE connectivity, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, GPS, Bluetooth, and a micro USB port. The Pouvoir 2 will sell at a price of $125, while the Tecno Pouvoir 2 Air will cost around $100.

On the overall, the Tecno Pouvoir 2 Air is the Lite version of the Pouvoir 2 smartphone.
So the Pouvoir 2 will perform better, while the Pouvoir 2 Air is more affordable and will make a wise buy.
