China's TENAA has certified two new Samsung phones, and their model numbers are SM-A3050 and SM-A3058.
When you look at the model number of both phones, you would think that they are network variants of the Samsung Galaxy A30. The phones, however, aren't as their specs are entirely different from the A30. In fact, the phones are more similar in specs to the Galaxy M30 (SM-M305F).
The Samsung SM-A3050 (and SM-A3085) features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display just like the M30. The display, however, has a lower 1560 x 720 HD+ resolution. According to the TENAA listings, the phone will sport a 1.8GHz or 1.6GHz octa-core processor along with 4GB, 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of expandable storage.
The camera setup of the SM-A3050 (and SM-A3085) is the same as the M30. The rear of the phone features three cameras, 13MP + 5MP + 5MP and a 16 MP selfie shooter on the front.
The phone will run Android 9 Pie, it has a fingerprint sensor, and it is powered by a 4900mAh battery which supports fast charging. The phone features three color variants: black, gold, and blue. It weighs 173 g, and its dimensions are 75.1 x 159 x 8.4 mm.
We have not seen any photos of the phones yet.
