People like to change their hairstyle very often. It gives them a "fresh" look and they pay much attention to parties and weddings. Everyone wants to be attractive and always be ready for Instagram. No? While changing hairstyles is easier, changing hair color is not. What happens if you don't like it? Sometimes it can go terribly wrong. How about an app that shows you how there is that tremendously funky color?
There are plenty of apps on the App Store that will help you try new colors before applying one in your favorite beauty salon. For the best results, I suggest you use one of these apps with and show your photos to your hairdresser. After all, he/she is the expert and will be able to guide you the best. Let's start.
1. HAIR COLOR
Hair Color (generic name of the app) is a small and fun app that does one thing and does it well. It comes with an option to perform live selfies that you can use to try different hair colors in real time. Just start the app, position the camera and select a range of colors (more than 50 shades) to try.
You can also increase or decrease the intensity and color depth using vertical bars. the thing that surprised us is that there is no way to save images. But if that's what you want to do, take a screenshot. You can then share it with your friends and hairdressers to learn their opinions.
This free app does not contain advertising, has a free color palette and offers in-app purchases, the paid ones are marked with a star.
2. HAIR COLOR CHANGER
Do you want to try more colors at the same time or use different shades? A stroke of genius, perhaps? Hair Color Changer offers more control over the part of your hair you want to color. The app uses gestures to apply color, move images, and zoom in / out.
Unlike Hair Color, you can click on a new photo or use an existing one from the gallery. Select the pencil icon and increase or decrease the size of the tip using the upper horizontal slider. The lower one will regulate the darkness.
You can then start painting your hair with your fingers to see which color will do your look justice. You can also save different looks in the Photos app. The app is free but contains ads and comes with in-app purchases to unlock additional colors and shades.
3. HAIR COLOR BOOTH
Hair Color Booth has similar options and user interface but with a wider palette of colors and shades. The app does not offer a live view, so you'll have to work with selfies. You need to use your fingers and gestures to apply colors.
Similar to the Hair Color Changer app, you can adjust strength and saturation. Not only that, you can also control the smoothness. Tinker with these three options to see which one is best for you. The app does not contain ads but offers in-app purchases to access additional colors.
4. HAIR STYLE SALON
It is difficult to make decisions, especially when they concern your appearance. This is just what your friends do for you. They can certainly let you know their opinions, but isn't it better to ask people who color their hair very often? This is Hair Style Salon ... it comes with a system of grades.
Choose a hairstyle, apply the color you prefer and put it to the vote. I recommend creating a profile to get the most out of the Hair Style Salon app. There are several tabs for choosing hairstyles, color, and rating. You will find categories such as long, short and curly. Once you have selected the relevant options, you can add color to the hair in the photo.
Instead of preset colors and shades, you can choose any color and mix and match the different shades using the color selector (they call it IRIS). The color tool is free but if you want to try new hairstyles it will cost you $ 2.99 a week. It is one of the best iOS apps to change hair color.
5. HAIRSTYLE MAKEOVER
Hairstyle Makeover is the latest app on the list that lets you take a step forward to digitally test your look. The only thing that bothered me most was the fact that I couldn't change the color of my hair without first choosing a hairstyle. If you like it, it's a great little app.
There are several hairstyles to choose from. You can test with your own photo or choose one of the models. Once you have selected the hairstyle and adjusted the size, you will see many options.
Here you can change the hue or tint of the hair color. While the effects are interesting and different from what I saw in previous apps, I wish there were more ways to configure the color. Other options include the ability to blur, flip, cut and cut. Definitely worth a try.
These iOS apps will help you change the color of your hair in your photos (or let you see a live preview), so you can test, gather feedback and decide on your next new look.
