Update OnePlus 3 & 3T to OxygenOS 4.0.2 Android 7.0 Nougat
OnePlus has started the release of the first minor Nougat update for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T with the name Oxygen 4.0.2. This is the third Android 7.0 Nougat update which OnePlus has released in less than four weeks. Just about some weeks ago, OnePlus made known its plans to release Oxygen 4.0.1 based on Nougat officially.
Oxygen which was released first was released based on Android 7.0 Nougat for OnePlus 3 and 3T. Updates could also be done via OTA.
Well, now users can make their updates to the new Oxygen OS 4.0.2 via over-the-air service. Not only is this update incremental, it also fixed issues complained by users from the previous version.
Status bar icon options and improved shelf customization are added to the OxygenOS 4.0.2. Users also complained about the previous versions having some issues like the screen turning ON and OFF during calls, and others. All of them have been fixed.
Settings have also been updated on the API for select carriers. The whole system has also been made more stable than the former.
Do not update to the OxygenOS 4.0.2 just yet. Some apps are not yet working on the version yet as the update is being released in small increments and has not been completely released yet.
So when it is fully released you can count on us to share the download link here on TechLector
