The newest installment of The Walking Dead has just released a few more details. The title, being developed by Overkill Software, will have a cooperative mode for up to four people simultaneously and players should select predefined characters instead of creating their own survivors.
The first of these playable characters announced was Aidan, released in a trailer with game graphics. The video, which you can see below, shows Aidan's transition, which dealt with a lifetime of burdens and stress at work before the zombie apocalypse, but which seems to be even amusing with the arrival of the undead.
In addition to Aidan, Overkill Software gave a small sample of the look of three other characters, who are likely to win their own introductory trailers in the future. It is also known that each character will have a specific class with special abilities and own game styles, with RPG elements. For what shows the video of Aidan, it should have a more focused gameplay in melee and possibly use a baseball bat as a weapon.
Another important point to emphasize is that the story of the game will pass right at the beginning of the zombie infestation.
Inspired by the world explored on the hit TV series, which is currently in its eighth season, The Walking Dead of Overkill Software will be released in 2018 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
