There were many surprises that appeared in the 2018 IFA title in Berlin last week. One of them is Microsoft which announced it will soon release a major update (major update) for the Windows 10 operating system.
This update, according to Microsoft, will begin rolling out to users in October. But the software giant from Redmond has not yet confirmed the date of this update.
Different from minor updates that are usually only to patch OS security holes, this major update will bring significant changes to the appearance of Windows 10.
So what are the updates that Microsoft will bring to Windows on October 10?
This update will bring a number of new features including the updated snipping ( screenshot ) tool, then there is also a cloud clipboard feature that is also updated.
In addition, according to Microsoft, the File Explorer window will also have a new face, namely the dark mode (black) that will make the user’s eyes more comfortable when in low light conditions.
In this update, Microsoft also improves the performance and capabilities of its internet browser (Edge). There is also a feature to view computer performance information when playing games on the Xbox Game Bar.
In the “Search” bar at the bottom, users can later see a preview of what they are looking for so that the search process can be faster.
Then, through this update, the user can also name the tile folders that have been created later. That way, it will make it easier for users to organize whatever applications they normally use.
The Folder Tile itself is a folder that is in the Start Menu that contains a collection of certain applications. Currently. there is indeed no feature to name this tile folder.
Previously, Microsoft was known to be preparing a major update for Windows 10 since the beginning of 2018. Microsoft named the update codenamed Redstone 5 which was released in early 2018.
