Xiaomi is preparing to introduce its third gaming smartphone, the Xiaomi BlackShark 2. Now, we learned from the CEO himself that the new smartphone will come with amazing battery life, delivering up to 60% more performance when compared to its predecessor.

At a time when manufacturers need to explore all the little details to make their gaming smartphones appealing, certainly, the battery is one of the most important segments. After all, the longer it can be a game session without the need for charging, the better!

The brand’s CEO revealed that this considerable improvement was achieved by optimizing the battery’s chemical system, coupled with improvements in the charging algorithm. In addition, it has confirmed that it will also come with Liquid Cooling 3.0 technology, to ensure that the smartphone does not go into overheating.

Xiaomi BlackShark 2 will offer a unique autonomy in the gaming segment

During the last weeks, several information about this new smartphone began to appear. More specifically, their appearance on two performance test platforms eventually revealed some of their specifications.

Performance results at AnTuTu have confirmed the presence of the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, supported by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. However, another test conducted on GeekBench also confirmed the existence of a variant with 12GB of RAM.

It has also been confirmed that Xiaomi’s third gaming smartphone will return to a Full HD + screen, which should help keep its price quite attractive.

Finally, information also came from its certification by 3C, which revealed the support for fast loading at 27W. I recall that this is the same type of charging introduced with the Xiaomi Mi 9.

With its official presentation scheduled for March 18, we no longer need to wait much longer to know all the information about Xiaomi BlackShark 2. Recall that on this day, the manufacturer will also present the Redmi Note 7 Pro in China, which should bring some surprises.
