On the overall, both phones feature similar design and specifications on the inside. The Xiaomi Mi 9 features onscreen fingerprint sensor with great cameras set-up, while the Xiaomi Mi 8 will slightly outperform it's rival. The Xiaomi Mi 9 will make a wise buy since it's more affordable and also has support for Wireless Charging technology.
