For display sizes of smartphones, there are two camps. One might like it as compact as possible, for the others it can not be big enough. Who counts himself to the second camp, is likely to be pleased about the likely next release of Xiaomi. In July we expect the Xiaomi Mi Max 3.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 already in July
Lei Jun, the Xiaomi CEO, has recently confirmed that a Xiaomi Mi Max 3 should come. In the run-up to the Xiaomi Mi 8 launch event, he denied that the Mi Max 3 will arrive at the end of May, but publishing in July this year would be realistic. Part of this rumor mill is now the first visual publications of the 3C authority. The 3C authority or the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) certificate is comparable to the CE mark known in this country. There, the device with the model number M1807E8S appeared, which apparently reflects the Xiaomi Mi Max 3.
A few months ago firmware was leaked, which confirmed the existence of a Mi Max 3. From this information could be read, which said that it is equipped with an 18: 9 aspect ratio, but without earphone connection. The CCC certificate also provides information about the charging speed of the smartphone. So it supports 5V 3A Quick Charge. In addition, there are more leaked pictures from the production site which show that the Max in Mi Max 3 probably stands for the maximum size. Since Xiaomi now uses very thin screen edges, one even assumes a display size of 6.99 inches.
The picture also shows a thin screen at the bottom and a small cutout at the top of the screen. Either the front camera wanders down like the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S or maybe even up into a mini-notch. Just as questionable remains the question of other hardware. Several voices claim that the choice of processor falls on the Snapdragon 710. He is already in the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE used and would be a good choice. Alternatively, the Snapdragon 660 would be a good choice, which Xiaomi also uses in the Xiaomi Mi 6X.
The design of the back seems already confirmed. It reminds us of almost all current Xiaomi smartphones like the Redmi Note 5. Vertical dual camera in the left upper corner and the fingerprint sensor on the back. What a battery under the hood is, remains to be seen. With such a large display, however, the capacity must also be correspondingly high.
The information situation is still sparse, but we know from the past that the leaks and rumors often, if not always, come true. If so, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 should also be in the upper middle class. The transition between smartphone and tablet would be fluent but raises the question of the also announced Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 for us.
What do you think of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3? Would you like a 7-inch display too big?
