Following the success of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 that was released by the renowned Chinese OEM back in January 2017, as well as the Redmi Note 5A, the company have decided to give the device some upgrade by giving it a successor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has been rumoured to a 5.5 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The display have also been said to be of top quality as it would sport a high pixel density of 439 ppi.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will come in about 4 different storage combination variants – a 3GB RAM/16GB ROM, 3GB RAM/32GB ROM, 4GB RAM/32GB ROM and 4GB RAM/64GB ROM. The storage variants will of course come at different prices as the storage capacity increases.
The Redmi Note 5 will come with a Dual camera set-up on the rear which makes it entirely unique from its predecessors, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 which came with only single rear camera. The camera lenses are expected to be a main 16MP camera and a support 5MP camera. The selfie camera remains 5MP like Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A.
Other new features the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is bringing to the table include a more improved Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 System-on-Chip, a fingerprint sensor (mounted on the rear), dual dual-tone LED flash light and a 4,000 mAh battery.

There isn’t any available information at the moment revealing if the device will come with the Quick charge feature or not but considering the battery capacity, the device most likely will. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be available on Gray, Gold and Black and will run the Android v7.1 Nougat OS (I really was expecting the Android Oreo OS), but still, when released, it should be upgradable to Android 8.0 I suppose.
The Redmi Note 5 will most likely released in November and have been rumoured to have a piece tag of 150 Euros or $180.
